For some people, declaring themselves to be a Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) is a kind of gambling on bisexual dating website. It is a great relief if the other person does not judge and instead accepts, or will be very painful when what happens is rejection and blasphemy. For people who have identified themselves as bisexual couples, before they need a few moments to arrive at the stage of being aware and confident of their sexual orientation. It might take a while for someone to know whether they are bisexual or not, but that doesn’t matter. With self-introspection, reading some reviews from experts, or searching for information from the internet, one can connect some bright spots and look for answers whether he is bisexual or not. It’s not easy to know that we are not the same as most people in general, but when you can accept yourself, then to tell your family and close friends will be easier.

Here are some things to do when you want to tell your family and friends that you are bisexual:

1. Understand the meaning of bisexual.

To be able to identify whether you are bisexual or not, you can do it yourself. The definition of bisexuality itself is indeed still complicated and difficult to understand. Although bisexuality has been associated with interest in men and women, this type of sexual orientation does not include sex and gender that are outside the traditional binary. Your past relationships and interests also cannot be a benchmark for identifying. Therefore, before you tell others that you are bisexual, you must first understand the definition of bisexual and be sure that you are one of these people.

2. Be confident.

Even if you feel unsure of yourself, pretend. Why is that? Because if you look inferior and doubtful, people will show more resistance to your new identity. There is no need to show doubt when you acknowledge your condition. You will instead be mistaken for creating sensations and things like that. If you say it confidently, people will trust you more and will think seriously about your confession. Say what you want to express clearly and not wordy. People will value your confession that is open and straight to the point rather than long, confusing sentences.

It’s not easy to admit that there are different things about us, even with family. But after expressing it, you can be relieved and can appreciate yourself more. Don’t reject yourself no matter what happens, because if you can’t respect yourself, then who will?
